Principal’s Message
Welcome to Redmond High School, Home of the Panthers!
At RHS, we believe great things are built together. They are built through relationships, hard work, high expectations, and a belief in what our students can become.
This year, our theme is GRIT: Building Something Great.
And this year, the theme feels especially fitting because we are literally building. Our high school building will be under construction throughout the school year, which means our students and staff will experience a year that looks and feels a little different. There will be changes, challenges, construction zones, temporary spaces, and probably a few moments when things do not go exactly as planned.
That is where GRIT comes in.
We chose grit because we know that building something great takes time. It takes determination when things get hard, patience when things do not go as planned, and the willingness to keep moving forward. Grit is not about getting everything right the first time. It is about showing up, doing the work, learning from our mistakes, supporting one another, and continuing to move forward.
Our building may be under construction this year, but so are we. We are building stronger relationships, creating new opportunities, strengthening our culture, and continuing to grow as a school community. The construction around us gives us a daily reminder that something great is worth the work it takes to build it.
At Redmond High School, we are building a school where students are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to discover what they are capable of. We want every student to find a place where they belong, people who believe in them, and opportunities that help them see a future they are excited about. This year will bring change, challenges, and plenty of opportunities to grow. We will face those things together. Our students, staff, families, and community all have an important part in building the school we want RHS to be.
Because something great does not happen by accident. It happens when people care enough to keep showing up and keep building.
We are Redmond High School. We are Panthers. We have grit. And together, we are building something great.
