Redmond High School

Welcome Back!!

The 2026-2027 school year is almost here!

August 12, 2026

Dear Redmond High School Students and Families:

We interrupt your summer to bring you some important news! We are preparing for the return of our Panthers, and we are excited to begin a new school year together. We know this year will challenge us, but it will also strengthen us and remind us of what we are capable of accomplishing as a Redmond community!

Our student leadership theme this year is Grit: Building Something Great. This theme was selected before we received the news about the inaccessibility of most of the building for the year and it's aptly fitting. Grit is the determination to keep going, the courage to face challenges, and the commitment to grow even when things are difficult. Grit is not about doing everything perfectly; it is about showing up, learning and moving forward.

As a school, we are committed to helping every student develop that perseverance, and we know that our strongest results come when school and home work together. Thank you for partnering with us, encouraging your student and for helping us create a year defined by Grit, Growth, and Panther Pride. We will create our community out in the Panther Portables, and we'll make it awesome!

Our student leaders have some great events planned, so stay tuned for more information, videos, and instructions about the start of school. (COMING SOON!)

In the meantime, all students must have verified their enrollment at RHS. We are hosting a Panther Prep Day to ensure all of our students are ready for the school year. On August 27, all parents and students are asked to attend any time between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. in our RHS gym.

Details are below. Please read carefully!

Looking forward to a great (GRIT) year!

Audrey Haugan, Principal
